What is the Tacoma Women of Color Collective?

I want to create a platform for women of all color in the pierce county area. Cultivate a space for professional women to nurture the community, collaborate and share professional educational and life resources. I want us to all come together to create opportunities, and share resources.

What is your biggest challenge?

I believe in timing and that timing is everything. The saying “build it and they will come” – it is real. Every Single thing has worked out. I think my biggest challenge is myself. Getting out of my head, and knowing that I CAN do this.

What is the best part?

Getting to meet all of the women, and supporting them.

Do you have an average age for members of the TWCC?

20-60 – there is a large age range.
