Home buying. Need I say more? First its go go go make an offer. Then its wait patiently. Then go go go go EXCITMENT. Then its wait patiently. Then its are they going to accept the offer? OH EM GEE. It has been crazy.
Jake and I used to live in Seattle before we had Stella girl. We loved it, but we knew it wasn’t where we wanted to raise our family. So we bought the house I grew up in – right across the street from my parents. It is a little community called Browns Point. I grew up here and love it. However, this is a place that has more of a retirement community vibe. We have lived here for 3 years, and there is NOTHING going on over here. We have to drive every where – there are no restaurants or coffee shops to walk to. So we made the decision to put an offer on a house. (it wasn’t my house that I loved). It needed so much work and the rooms were tiny. We put our house up for sale. Our house sold in 2 days. Then we decided not to go forward after the inspection on the other house. So you can only imagine that I was freaking out. We were going to have to move into our parents house, until we found a new home.
There was a house that was on the market, then contingent (with another family), and now is pending with us!
Its a little over budge. But it is BRAND NEW on the inside. It is two blocks away from proctor. Proctor has restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, a library, bowling alley, and old movie theater, met market – 4 blocks away from the house. I am So thrilled. I don’t want to get to excited because, we have to do one more inspection. But I AM EXCITED. Ill show you a few pictures of the inside.
The KITCHEN!!! I mean yesss please.
Yes there are three bathrooms!
A HUGE basement
There is also 3 car garage and trailer parking for my airstream. FINGERS CROSSED everything goes well. I am in LOVE with this house. I can’t take any more home buying stress.
I will keep you posted!
